Asma Ahmed received her bachelor’s degree in Pre-Medicine/Biochemistry from Trine University, Indiana (1998), and holds a Master’s in Public Health from Boston University (2003). After working years in the Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical research , Asma received her law degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law (2017). While in law school Asma interned at Medtronic’s Patent and Global Intellectual Property group and assisted in global IP operations and strategies along with preparing and prosecuting patent applications for medical devices and related technologies. In the future, Asma aspires to work with emerging countries’ governments, businesses, and inventors to protect their inventions, brands, and designs.
