After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Genetics from Iowa State University, Kate graduated cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law where she competed in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court. While attending law school, Kate worked as a law clerk at Medtronic. Kate also worked in the Mitchell Hamline’s IP Law Clinic and the Upper Midwest Patent Assistance Program providing pro bono patent prosecution support to low income inventors.
