Having a diverse and robust team with people from many backgrounds is important to us. It has been part of our fiber since the beginning and continues to inform our present practice. BCH maintains a long-standing commitment to diversity through eliminating bias and enhancing inclusion in the practice of Intellectual Property Law. While 2020 brought great attention to the disparities and social injustice in our communities and society at large, our team has been has been ABA Model Diversity Survey Compliant since 2017.
Patent Law is a highly specialized field that requires a science degree, law degree, passing of the State and Patent Bar. Knowing the deficit of women and minorities in the sciences and in law one can imagine the difficulty of recruiting and supporting individuals who are not widely represented in a field. Under the guidance of Katie, our team seeks to recruit, hire and mentor a diverse group of talented people.
With eyes on Race, Inclusion & Social Equity (RAISE), BCH continues its commitment to allyship in the way we hire and in the way we work. Our goal has always been to RAISE the bar in Intellectual Property Law.
Please meet some of our Allyship Panelists.
