Jake’s practice includes patent preparation and prosecution, as well as providing opinions on patent infringement, non-infringement, and validity issues. During graduate school, Jake gained experience fabricating magnetic thin films and investigating the AC-susceptibility of exchange-biased samples. Jake’s areas of expertise include semiconductor design and fabrication, Flash memory, phase change memory, electrical circuits, and mechanical devices. He also has experience with medical devices, network devices including hardware and software, wireless communication systems, optical systems and devices, and business methods.
