Jason is an equity owner who participates in strategic and financial decision making and manages various insurance policies for the firm. He manages patent dockets for various corporate clients and practices in areas such as maritime methods and systems for geophysical data acquisition, semiconductors, memory devices, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and neural networks, virtual machines, networking, supply chain monitoring, 3D modeling, orthodontics, software, electronics, aerospace, fluid dynamics, global positioning systems, mechanical apparatuses, medical devices, and business methods. Jason has experience in patent portfolio valuation and monetization. He also prepares opinions related to infringement, validity, and damages and has served as an expert witness in matters related to infringement, validity, damages, and the standard of care for patent attorneys. Prior to practicing patent law, Jason gained litigation and appeals experience in criminal law and juvenile delinquency for a county attorney’s office in Minnesota.
